Mad Fate/Revisited

The stars lean down to see me
And i lied when i said okay
Pour me a heavy dose of sleeping pills
It's been a thousand days for this opened eyes

Sit down on this cold soil of the earth
The city sparkles in the night
How can it glows so bright?
I can't find the answer

So i sit on the front porch all night
I'll forget the world i knew
I'll swallow my pride
I would see the light
Make me new

The last remaining lights go dark
It's depressing, but what can i do?
I see them above me as my masters
And i'm just a low, poor protector

So i sit on the front porch all night
I'll forget the world i knew
I'll swallow my pride
I would see the light
Make me new

I don't want it to end like this
I want to be free, just like the wind
But that's the final ending, their voices still resounding
I'm used to not losing them

So i sit on the front porch all night
I'll forget the world i knew
I'll swallow my pride
I would see the light
Make me new

So i sit on the front porch all night
I'll forget the world i knew
I'll swallow my pride
'til i see the light
Make me new

Notes: This song is originally written as a short story/poetry by Tika Savitri(sorry if i write it wrong) who asked me to make it into a song. I play it in C Major key. maybe about 100-110 BPM. I've changed some words in it because the original one doesn't have good rhyming(it's intended to be a short story). I haven't recorded it yet. Maybe i'll upload it in 1-2 weeks to my Soundclick account. Anyway, thanks for her for "constructing" those beautiful words and "enlighten" my days starting from last Tuesday, April 20th 2010, to a yet unknown amount of happy and sad times. Hopefully she'll always enlighten me for our remaining days here on earth :)

The Pursuit of Loneliness

Time flies by
Time runs out
Scent of summer dried out with haste
Autumn, waiting for it's turn with no smile on her face
Samson didn't got his hair cut, Delilah didn't do it either
The columns were not broken like the old books always said
What it feels like? What it feels like?
No scent of summer on summer, no autumn's smile too
What it feels like? What it feels like?
Samson didn't lose his hair, the columns were good and fair
It must be nice
Oh, it must be nice

Train goes by
Train runs out
Bleak lights on the wall shimmering lazily
People, sitting on the benches waiting for the ark
Get them to their utopia, free them from all the shackles
The benches aren't empty and the train doesn't come yet
What it feels like? What it feels like?
The lights are so weak, people started to wither
What it feels like? What it feels like?
Future looks so pale, the train won't stop
It must be nice
Oh, it must be nice

Me, You, Us, Them
The places are set and nothing is wrong
Loneliness, oh loneliness
Don't turn your back against me, why can't we just get along
Me, You, Us, Them
This isn't the only time to break the walls
Loneliness, oh loneliness
Don't leave me, we're not falling at all

Last train home, no one is aboard
I am here, waiting for no one
Last train home, no one is aboard
I am here, I am alone
